Territorial Indicators News
ISTAT has implemented a system of demographic, social, environmental and economic indicators referring to geographical areas, regions, provinces and regional and provincial capitals. The system allows integrated reading of the Italian territory useful to specialised users' aims and Institutions ruling the territory. The indicators are grouped into 16 information areas: Prices, National Accounts, Agriculture, Environment, Industry, Housing, Construction and Public Works, External trade, Transport and Tourism, Labour Market, Household Budget, Households and social aspects, Population, Public Health, Welfare Services and Social Securities, Education, Culture and Leisure, Justice, Sustainable development. Moreover, the availability of data in time series allows to analyse the evolution of different events referring to the considered territory.

Sustainable development
New information area with several sub-areas according to the classification proposed by Eurostat and containing cross-sectional indicators of great interest.
Population
Main indicators on the demographical structure by age, sex, marital status; amounts and specific rates also related to marriages, live births and fertility.
Households and social aspects
All indicators in this area have been updated with data from the multipurpose survey on households, aspects of daily life. New indicators have been added for the entire available time series.
Justice and safety
Indicators on separations and divorces; several indicators on road accidents.
Public Health, Welfare Services and Social Securities
Mortality indicators have been updated.
National Accounts
All indicators in this area have been completely revised.
Labour Market
All indicators in this area have been updated.
